MODULE 1

Programming Principles

No matter how experienced you are, it is crucial to master the scientific foundations.  In this module, learn or revise upon

  • The fundamental principles of training, e.g. Specificity, Adaptation, Progressive Overload and so on
  • Periodisation 101
  • Ladder of Progression (this exclusive PDM model is the foundation of all our programming)
MODULE 2

Movement Assessments

"If you're not assessing, you're guessing".  Conducting screening + movement assessments are the first steps in your client journey and programming process.  In this module, we cover

  • The different types of assessments and screening tools
  • What to look for in your reviews (+ how to interpret your observations)
  • How to apply the information uncovered in the assessments to your program design process
MODULE 3

Writing Resistance  Programs

Once you're armed with movement screen information, what happens next? Writing the program!
This part is often what trips trainers up as there are many considerations.  In this module we cover

  • The 5-Step Program Design Process
  • How to choose the 'right' variables for your client's goal
  • How to design programs for Strength, Hypertrophy or Concurrent goals
  • How to progress a client effectively and safely
MODULE 4

Improving Fitness + Conditioning

Do your female clients need conditioning? (hint the answer is a resounding yes!)

But what type of conditioning is best? Should they be doing HIIT and banning steady-state cardio? In this module, we'll answer those questions by looking at

  • Energy Systems 101
  • Understanding the difference between fitness + conditioning
  • How to progress/periodise conditioning sessions using the Ladder of the Progression model
  • Best conditioning modalities
MODULE 5

The Art of Coaching

You can write the best program, but it's worthless if the client can't stick to it. The best trainers know this and are exceptional at effectively coaching change.  We'll show you how to do the same.  Here's what included in this module

  • Understand the Self Determination Theory and how you apply it practically
  • Understanding the power of autonomy for sustainable fitness
  • How to facilitate more auto-regulation and autonomy in your clients
  • Fostering client self accountability
MODULE 6

The Trainer Toolbox

If you need to 'learn more exercises' or 'get more equipment' to program well, this module will challenge those thoughts. In this module we

  • Share with you our extensive exercise matrix (armed with over a hundred exercises) and explain how and when to use the different progressions.
  • How to get super intentional with your exercise selection
  • Familiarise yourself with female-specific exercise nuances and considerations (most of which aren't generally talked about

THE FINER DETAILS

HOW WE DELIVER THE PROGRAM

 

The program runs for 12 weeks in a hybrid-style fashion. You get dripped access to the Modules every two weeks which means you can watch the modules at your own pace.

Every 2nd week we come together for a group live coaching/review session to discuss the practical application of the Module and answer questions.

In between these call times, we are active in our private FB community.
